This book is excellent! I am not that great at gardening and need all the advice I can get. This book has really helped me plan my garden this year and in a way that benefits my chickens as well. What more could I want?
I love all of the photos. I was hoping that this would encourage me to somehow keep my chickens in the garden. But this book has actually convinced me that it is probably much easier to just keep them out. The book actually talks a lot about how to keep the chickens out of the garden. With fencing and different tactics and seems to explain that the most logical and easy way to incorporate chickens in the garden is in the fall after harvest in the spring before planting. Does contain a lot of useful information regarding how to garden plants that your chicken can't eat as supplements. And also includes items that you should not feed your chickens.
Simple texts with awesome information and simple/sustainable ideas.After having tried to learn from other texts, this book proved raising chicken can be simple and ecological.
Fun and very entertaining and educational. Look forward to learn so much about my chicken from Lisa.
Already planted some new chicken friendly herbs. The book has way more info than I expected, pleasantly surprised.
Love this book what a great read, full of valuable information. Easy to read great photos. I recommend reading a couple books prior to obtaining chickens and this is one of them .
